The Splendor of a Southern Spring

During a few short weeks each spring, those of us living in Kingstree find ourselves in a floral wonderland, surrounded by blooming azaleas, dogwoods, wisteria, and other flowers of the season. This week's ramble needs no words. The photos, all taken in Kingstree during the last two weeks, speak for themselves.

Linda, you are the perfect person to record our little town. You cover all angles with a gentle bare truth. Job well done, my friend.

Linda, I can remember when I was trusted to cross Hwy 52 and walk to school. Academy Street was ablaze with color. I was thinking that is something that I miss, and here you went and brought my memory back. Including the time Bobby's dog Baron BIT me on the way to school, but he and i have a good laugh about it whenever we see each other.
